Als Project Manager NPI geef je richting aan multidisciplinaire ontwikkelprojecten binnen een internationale productieomgeving in Alken. De focus ligt op innovatie die tot concrete resultaten leidt: nieuwe producten tijdig, kwalitatief en volgens de verwachtingen van de klant naar de markt brengen.

Binnen deze rol worden complexe trajecten gestuurd van concept en ontwerp tot validatie, industrialisatie en commerciële productie. Daarbij is ervaring met consumables die in grote volumes worden geproduceerd essentieel. Door klantbehoeften, technische ontwikkeling, kwaliteit en productie met elkaar te verbinden, ontstaat de structuur die nodig is om projecten succesvol te realiseren.

Wat ga je doen?

Projectsturing en klantafstemming

Binnen klantgerichte ontwikkelprojecten wordt een heldere projectvisie uitgewerkt, met duidelijke doelstellingen, succescriteria, mijlpalen en verantwoordelijkheden. Klantvragen en functionele vereisten worden vertaald naar een haalbaar projectplan waarin timing, budget, middelen, afhankelijkheden en deliverables zorgvuldig zijn vastgelegd. Doorheen het volledige traject worden klanten en interne stakeholders actief betrokken, zodat verwachtingen op elkaar afgestemd blijven en beslissingen tijdig genomen worden. Tegelijk worden risico's, wijzigingen en knelpunten proactief opgevolgd, met passende maatregelen en escalaties wanneer de voortgang of het eindresultaat onder druk komt te staan.

Ontwikkeling, industrialisatie en projectgovernance

Crossfunctionele teams uit onder meer R&D, Quality, Product Engineering, Supply Chain en Operations worden aangestuurd binnen een matrixorganisatie. De projecten omvatten het volledige productontwikkelingsproces, waaronder ontwerp, prototyping, testen, validatie en de overdracht naar grootschalige commerciële productie. Projectreviews, milestone assessments, stage-gatebeoordelingen en managementrapporteringen zorgen voor een transparante en beheerste voortgang. Daarnaast worden product-, proces-, leveranciers- en klantgedreven wijzigingen gecoördineerd, inclusief impactanalyse, documentatie en goedkeuring volgens de geldende kwaliteits- en regelgevingsvereisten.

Wie ben jij?

Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in engineering, life sciences of een vergelijkbare technische richting en hebt minstens vijf jaar ervaring in projectmanagement binnen een technische productieomgeving. Ervaring met productontwikkeling en industrialisatie van consumables die in grote aantallen worden geproduceerd, is een belangrijke vereiste.

Je kent de principes van professioneel projectmanagement en hebt ervaring met risicobeheer, projectgovernance en bij voorkeur stage-gateontwikkelingsprocessen. Een PMP-certificering is een pluspunt. Je begrijpt hoe ontwerp, prototyping, testen, validatie en productie met elkaar samenhangen en kunt technische producttekeningen lezen en interpreteren. Kennis van GMP, medische hulpmiddelen, farmaceutische regelgeving of andere gereguleerde productieomgevingen vormt een sterke meerwaarde.

Je communiceert vlot en overtuigend met klanten, technische specialisten en management. Je spreekt en schrijft vloeiend Engels; kennis van het Nederlands is een pluspunt. Je brengt structuur in complexe situaties, stelt prioriteiten en houdt teams gericht op resultaat. Dankzij je maturiteit, verbindende aanpak en overtuigingskracht creëer je draagvlak, pak je conflicten constructief aan en stimuleer je eigenaarschap. Je werkt vlot met MS Office en bedrijfsspecifieke software en bent bereid om occasioneel te reizen.
