Onze klant is een toonaangevende, internationale speler binnen de zware constructie- en staalbouw. Vanuit hun hoofdkantoor realiseren zij indrukwekkende, grootschalige projecten met een wereldwijde impact.

Ter uitbreiding van het team zoeken zij een Projectaankoper Staal. Ze zoeken iemand die ervaring heeft met aankoop in staal, of die beschikt over een zeer sterke technische achtergrond binnen aankoop. In deze rol focus je voornamelijk op de operationele aankoop van zowel gigantische staalcomponenten als kleinere technische materialen zoals bouten en moeren.

Taken

  • Je beheert de operationele aankoop voor toegekende projecten, gaande van kleine technische materialen zoals bouten tot de grootste staalcomponenten.
  • Je analyseert kritisch de bestellijsten van de engineeringafdeling om de technische haalbaarheid en budgettaire marges te waarborgen.
  • Je voert scherpe commerciële onderhandelingen met leveranciers, zowel nationaal als internationaal, om de beste voorwaarden te garanderen.
  • Je herziet en actualiseert prijzen binnen tenderdossiers, zodat offertes ook op de lange termijn financieel rendabel blijven.
  • Je bouwt duurzame relaties op met vaste partners en zoekt alternatieven waar nodig om leveringsrisico's te minimaliseren.
  • Je fungeert als de vaste back-up van de aankoopmanager en neemt autonoom beslissingen binnen jouw toegekende budgetten.

Profiel

  • Je beschikt over een stevige technische achtergrond of relevante ervaring binnen de staalsector.
  • Je hebt reeds ervaring met projectmatig aankopen.
  • Je bent vloeiend in het Nederlands en Engels, waarbij kennis van het Frans of Duits een mooi pluspunt is.
