Voor een productieomgeving in de regio Wetteren wordt een Project Engineer Machine Safety gezocht om een belangrijk verbeterprogramma rond machineveiligheid mee uit te werken. Dit traject werd opgestart na een arbeidsinspectie, waarbij een actieplan werd opgelegd om vastgestelde tekortkomingen structureel weg te werken.

In deze rol combineer je inhoudelijke expertise met projectcoördinatie. Je bent betrokken van analyse tot implementatie en werkt daarbij nauw samen met operationeel management, directie, technische diensten en externe partners. Het gaat nadrukkelijk om een hands-on functie: naast coördinatie voer je zelf analyses uit en werk je concrete technische oplossingen uit. Op termijn kan de scope uitbreiden naar internationale vestigingen.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Uitvoeren van risicoanalyses rond machineveiligheid en CE-conformiteit.
  • Uitwerken van technische oplossingen, zoals afschermingen, noodstops en andere veiligheidsvoorzieningen.
  • Opstellen van specificaties en technische dossiers voor aanpassingen aan installaties.
  • Coördineren van externe partijen, waaronder machinebouwers, studiebureaus en keuringsinstanties.
  • Opvolgen van uitvoering, testen en opleveringen op de productiesite.
  • Bewaken van planning, deadlines en rapportering aan management en directie.
  • Zorgen voor een aantoonbare en conforme afronding van het actieplan van de arbeidsinspectie.

Je werkt zelfstandig, communiceert vlot met diverse stakeholders en weet technische vraagstukken pragmatisch te vertalen naar haalbare oplossingen. Daarbij schakel je moeiteloos tussen detailwerk op de werkvloer en het overzicht over het volledige project.

  • Je hebt een bachelor of master in een technische richting, of bent gelijkwaardig door relevante ervaring.
  • Je beschikt over aantoonbare ervaring met machineveiligheid, risicoanalyses en CE-trajecten.
  • Je hebt kennis van relevante normen en wetgeving, zoals EN ISO 12100, EN ISO 13849-1 en de Machinerichtlijn.
  • Je hebt ervaring met het zelfstandig leiden van technische projecten en het afstemmen met meerdere stakeholders.
  • Je hebt een goede kennis van het Nederlands.
