Project Engineer Electromechanics | Infrastructure & Water Projects | East Flanders, Limburg & Flemish Brabant
Are you an engineer with a passion for electromechanics, electrical installations, and large-scale infrastructure projects? Do you enjoy taking ownership of projects from design through commissioning while working on essential public infrastructure?
We are looking for a Project Engineer Electromechanics to support the design, delivery, and optimization of pumping stations, pressure pipelines, and water infrastructure installations across the region.
What you'll do -
* Lead projects from concept and design through execution, commissioning, and aftercare.
* Develop and evaluate technical solutions to achieve the best project outcomes.
* Prepare design and tender documentation while ensuring quality, budget, and planning objectives are met.
* Coordinate contractors, internal stakeholders, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
* Monitor safety during design and construction activities.
* Provide technical expertise in electromechanics and hydraulics.
* Support project acceptance, warranty activities, and operational handovers.
* Act as a trusted technical advisor for internal and external stakeholders.
What we're looking for -
* Degree in Electromechanics, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
* Strong interest in electrical systems and hydraulic infrastructure.
* Expertise in electromechanics, hydraulics, and modelling software
* Experience managing engineering, industrial, utility, or infrastructure projects.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently while coordinating multiple project partners.
* Fluent Dutch.
