Wij, Wageningen Food & Biobased Research (WFBR), zijn op zoek naar een Onderzoeker Data & Modelling. Ben jij degene die ons team komt versterken? Wat ga je doen? Als onderzoeker machine learning initieer en ontwikkel je innovatieve datagedreven oplossingen binnen de domeinen bio-economie en voeding. Een voorbeeld hiervan is het verbeteren van fermentatiescreening voor plantaardige ingrediënten. Dit proces is van oudsher tijdrovend, omdat iedere combinatie van substraat en stam zich anders gedraagt. Door machine learning toe te passen op historische experimentele data kunnen we veelbelovende combinaties voorspellen. Zo dragen we bij aan de ontwikkeling van innovatieve en duurzame voedingsmiddelen. Een ander voorbeeld is het inzetten van large language model (LLM)-tools om versnipperde informatie uit interne en externe bronnen automatisch te ontsluiten, te structureren en beschikbaar te maken voor gebruik in onze digitale oplossingen. Jouw taken en verantwoordelijkheden zijn onder andere: - Je initieert nieuwe projecten en ideeën voor acquisitie door nieuwe toegepaste onderzoeksproposities vorm te geven en de inzichten te leveren die nodig zijn om de meerwaarde van AI-oplossingen voor partners en klanten overtuigend over te brengen. - Je leidt projecten waarin jij en je team nieuwe AI-oplossingen ontwerpen en ontwikkelen.
