In dit DWH vindt verwerking en verrijking van data plaats en worden Bedrijfsgegevens Sogeti NederlandB.V. Projectleider doorontwikkeling DWH - Raad voor de Kinderbescherming 1 verschillende subdatasets (datamarts) gecreëerd voor verschillende rapportagedoeleinden.Het DWH voorziet niet alleen in management- maar ook inbeleids- en onderzoeks-informatie, ook in relatie tot de civiele resp. strafrechtketen waarvan de RvdK deel uitmaakt. Het beheer van de (standaard-)rapportages vindt centraal plaats om kwaliteit en eenduidigheid van de informatievoorziening te kunnen (blijven) garanderen(gegevensmanagement).Sinds 2008 is het DWH binnen de RvdK steeds doorontwikkeld en uitgebreid met meerdere bronnen, desalniettemin is er nude behoefte om met een bredere (externe) blik naar het DWH te kijken, zowel met kennis van de technische mogelijkheden van nu, maar ook met oogvoor de functionele wensen en mogelijkheden van de organisatie voor wat betreft middelen en het omgaan met informatie. Aanleiding voor project "doorontwikkeling DWH RvdK": De directe aanleiding voor een project Doorontwikkeling DWH RvdK is dat bij dedaadwerkelijke start van KIDS, het nieuwe PPS (primair-processysteem) van de RvdK, ook voor het eerst data vanuit KIDS in het DWH...
