Groen en waterrijk Tussen Amsterdam en Utrecht ligt de gemeente De Ronde Venen in een groen en waterrijk gebied. Met daarin acht verschillende dorpen, namelijk Mijdrecht, De Hoef, Wilnis, Amstelhoek, Waverveen, Vinkeveen, Baambrugge en Abcoude, is het werken altijd dynamisch. De inwoners van De Ronde Venen hechten veel waarde aan het leven in de groene en waterrijke leefomgeving. Tegelijkertijd grenst De Ronde Venen aan de metropool Amsterdam met de voordelen van de grote stad. Dit vraagt om lange termijn visies. Voor wonen, infrastructuur, ondernemen, duurzaamheid en milieu. Werken bij Gemeente De Ronde Venen De gemeente is met circa 320 collega's één van de grootste werkgevers van De Ronde Venen. We zijn een organisatie met ambitieuze medewerkers, korte lijnen en een informele werksfeer. Vanuit het gemeentehuis in Mijdrecht werken we hard om te zorgen voor een prettige leef- en woonomgeving voor ruim 43.000 inwoners. Natuurlijk zetten we ons ook in voor bedrijven en instellingen in de omgeving. Opgave In het team Ruimtelijke Ontwikkeling en Vastgoed werken we aan de nieuwe woon- en werkgebieden in de gemeente. De ambitie is gericht op het bouwen van 4800 woningen en 12 hectare nieuw bedrijventerrein. Concreet werken we nu aan projecten gericht op de bouw van ruim 3200 woningen en starten we met de ontwikkeling van 12 hectare bedrijventerrein.
