Je bepaalt, in overleg met de markt en interne stakeholders, het volledige aanbod aan digitale producten. Op basis van marktbehoeften stel je de functionele eisen en specificaties op zodat deze oplossingen perfect aansluiten bij wat klanten nodig hebben.

Je neemt de leiding over digitale projecten rond de connectiviteit van onze producten, van de eerste conceptfase tot en met de uiteindelijke oplevering. Daarbij bewaak je de planning, het budget en de kwaliteit, en zorg je voor een efficiënte uitvoering.

Samen met je R&D‑collega’s werk je aan een succesvolle realisatie van de projecten. Je stuurt zowel het interne projectteam als externe partners aan en ziet erop toe dat alle veiligheidsrichtlijnen correct worden gevolgd.

Je zorgt ervoor dat interne opleidingen de productlanceringen ondersteunen via een “train‑the‑trainer”-aanpak. Daarnaast volg je nieuwe ontwikkelingen en innovaties binnen jouw vakgebied actief op en deel je relevante inzichten met je collega’s.

Strategie

Je vertaalt de productstrategie naar een concrete en werkbare aanpak voor PLCM. Daarbij zorg je voor samenhang tussen de verschillende interne afdelingen, zodat zowel het ontwikkelingsproces als het lanceerproces gestructureerd en geoptimaliseerd verlopen.

Project & Proces

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het opzetten, verbeteren en bewaken van PLCM‑processen. Met een sterke procesfocus coördineer je de samenwerking tussen afdelingen en streef je naar een optimale time‑to‑market voor nieuwe productlanceringen. Op basis van de product roadmap van de R&D Director en Product Management visualiseer je het volledige ontwikkelingsproces en de voortgang. Je bewaakt het high‑level NPI‑proces volgens het 7‑stappen Staged Gate‑model (met opvolging in Jira) om snelheid en slaagkans te verhogen.

Day-2-day

Je beheert dagelijks de NPD-, NPI- en ECR‑processen en volgt planning, voortgang en risico’s nauwgezet op. Je zorgt voor een efficiënte inzet van capaciteit en ontwikkeltijd. Als verbindende schakel stem je af met productmanagement, R&D, Prototyping & Testing, sourcing, supply chain, productie, marketing en sales. Daarnaast rapporteer je regelmatig aan het management over prioriteiten en voortgang.
