In het kort: Je gaat als projectleider de aanpassingen aan Werkplaats ’s-Gravenweg leiden, inclusief ontwerp, aanbesteding en realisatie van werkstand en wasstraat, en zorgen voor een goede operationele inpassing tijdens de werkzaamheden. Je gaat deel uitmaken van de afdeling Strategische Programma’s en Projecten (SP&P). Deze afdeling houdt zich bezig met programma’s gericht op de toekomstige ontwikkeling van het openbaar vervoer in Rotterdam en omgeving. Een van deze programma’s is Metronet. Metronet is een strategisch investerings- en ontwikkelprogramma voor het metronetwerk in de Metropoolregio Rotterdam Den Haag, in samenwerking tussen de Metropoolregio Rotterdam Den Haag (MRDH) en RET. Het doel van het programma is om het metronet toekomstbestendig te maken en de metrofrequentie op de E- en C-lijn te verdubbelen door: - Programma Nieuwe Voertuigen: vernieuwing en uitbreiding van metrovoertuigen, inclusief aanschaf van extra metrostellen om hogere frequenties en groeiende reizigersaantallen op te vangen. - Programma Capaciteit Verhogen: modernisering van infrastructuur, zoals aanpassing van de tractie en energievoorziening op de C- en E-lijnen en aanpassing van de metrowerkplaats in Waalhaven om onderhoud en capaciteit van nieuwe en bestaande voertuigen te ondersteunen. - Programma Vernieuwen Waalhaven: de Werkplaats Waalhaven wordt grondig uitgebreid en gemoderniseerd als onderdeel van het programma Metronet. Programma Metronet richt zich op de realisatie in de periode 2030-2033 en draagt bij aan de bereikbaarheid, capaciteit en kwaliteit van het openbaar vervoer in de regio te midden van groeiende bevolkingsaantallen en mobiliteitsvraag. ACHTERGROND VAN DE OPDRACHT Door de upgrade van het metronet, de komst van nieuwe 90-meter metrovoertuigen en de vernieuwing van Werkplaats Waalhaven zijn ook aanpassingen nodig op de ’s-Gravenweg. Voordat de nieuwe werkplaats Waalhaven volledig beschikbaar is, moet de ’s-Gravenweg geschikt zijn om de nieuwe voertuigen te k.
