Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het projectteam of programma en voor het hele proces van voorbereiding tot en met uitvoering van versterkingsprojecten. Binnen het regionale team richt je je op alles wat leidt tot veilige gebouwen. Je laat uitvoeringsontwerpen opstellen, zorgt voor de aanbesteding van de werkzaamheden en begeleidt de realisatie. Daarnaast houd je grip op de projectorganisatie, het contractmanagement, de financiële planning, risicobeheersing, projectbewaking, kwaliteit en planning. Je bouwt de projectorganisatie op: je schakelt de juiste specialisten in en zorgt dat er voldoende capaciteit staat. Projectleiders begeleid je bij hun eigen opdrachten. Verder stel je plannen van aanpak op, met ramingen of begrotingen voor de intentie-, initiatief- en uitvoeringsfase, en rapporteer je over de voortgang van de projecten.
