Bouw mee aan innovatieve onderwatersystemen voor defensie, maritieme veiligheid en exploratie bij U-Boat Worx. Over U-Boat Worx U-Boat Worx is een innovatieve Nederlandse subsea-onderneming met circa 60 FTE en een omzet van ongeveer €15 miljoen. De onderneming bevindt zich in een belangrijke groeifase en heeft de ambitie om binnen afzienbare tijd door te groeien naar een organisatie met meer dan €100 miljoen omzet. Deze groei wordt gedreven door de ontwikkeling van UBW Naval, naast de bestaande activiteiten van UBW Explorers. UBW Naval ontwikkelt en positioneert geavanceerde onderwateroplossingen voor defensie, maritieme veiligheid en autonome operaties. De organisatie richt zich onder meer op de ontwikkeling en marktintroductie van innovatieve bemande en onbemande onderwatersystemen, waaronder UUV-oplossingen. UBW Explorers bedient de internationale leisuremarkt met submersibles en bijbehorende services voor onder meer yachting, cruiselines, hotels en resorts. De Functie Als Projectmanager Engineering ben je de regisseur van het engineeringproces. Je leidt multidisciplinaire engineeringprojecten vanaf de eerste conceptfase tot en met de overdracht aan productie en certificering door classificatiebureaus zoals DNV of ABS. Je zorgt ervoor dat mechanische, elektrische en softwarematige componenten naadloos samenkomen in een voertuig dat bestand is tegen de extreme druk van de diepzee. Jouw belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden - Opstellen van gedetailleerde engineeringplanningen en bewaken van voortgang, budgetten en technische mijlpalen. - Leiden en coördineren van multidisciplinaire teams van mechanical, electrical en software engineers. - Bevorderen van samenwerking, kennisdeling en effectieve communicatie binnen het engineeringteam. - Fungeren als technisch aanspreekpunt voor interne afde...
