Als projectmanager gebiedsontwikkeling zie jij zulke verbanden voordat ze problemen veroorzaken. Je begrijpt hoe ruimtelijke keuzes samenhangen met financiën, procedures, grondzaken en uitvoerbaarheid. Daardoor kun je specialisten gericht uitdagen en weet je wanneer aanvullende analyse nodig is. Via koen werk je op detacheringsbasis bij verschillende gemeenten aan inhoudelijk stevige ruimtelijke projecten. Je komt terecht in omgevingen waar woningbouwdruk, ruimtegebruik en publieke belangen samenkomen. Elke opdracht vraagt dat je bestaande kennis toepast op een nieuwe lokale werkelijkheid. Werken bij de gemeente betekent dat je niet alleen procesmatig stuurt. Je bespreekt grondexploitaties, ontwikkelstrategieën, ruimtelijke kaders en projectrisico's met inhoudelijke experts. Je beoordeelt hoe keuzes elkaar beïnvloeden en vertaalt specialistische informatie naar integrale projectbesluiten. Daarbij bewaak je de hoofdlijn en voorkom je dat een project verdwaalt in afzonderlijke deelbelangen. Jouw kracht zit in het begrijpen van het geheel zonder het werk van specialisten over te nemen. Daardoor worden inhoudelijke discussies scherper en besluiten beter onderbouwd.
