The posting

De projectmedewerker vertrekt vanuit de leefwereld van jongeren en draagt bij aan kwaliteitsontwikkeling, innovatie en praktijkontwikkeling binnen de vrije tijd van jongeren. Hij/zij/x maakt deel uit van het jeugdwerkteam van JES Antwerpen actief binnen werkingsgebieden Borgerhout, Deurne, Luchtbal en Linkeroever. De projectmedewerker is niet gekoppeld aan één specifieke wijkwerking, maar werkt over verschillende werkingen en projecten heen. De specifieke thema’s zijn o.a. stem geven aan jongeren, jeugdwerk in de publieke ruimte, sociaal-sportief werk en jeugdvakantiewerk.

Kennis en ervaring

  • Je hebt ervaring met jeugdwerk of projectmatig werken met jongeren.
  • Je hebt inzicht in de leefwereld van jongeren in een stedelijke context.
  • Je hebt kennis van participatief en competentiegericht werken.
  • Je hebt voeling met maatschappelijke thema's die jongeren aanbelangen en hebt kennis van maatschappelijke kwetsbaarheid.
  • Ervaring met projectwerk, groepswerk of praktijkontwikkeling is een meerwaarde.

Vaardigheden

  • Je kan projecten opzetten, plannen en opvolgen samen met doelgroep.
  • Je kan processen begeleiden en mensen verbinden.
  • Je kan signalen analyseren en vertalen naar acties of voorstellen.
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken en tegelijk goed samenwerken.
  • Je kan ideeën omzetten in concrete acties.
  • Je communiceert helder met jongeren, collega's en partners.
  • Je hebt voeling met cultuursensitief werken, communiceren en handelen en je hebt een anti-discriminatoire houding.
  • Je kan omgaan met veranderende omstandigheden en opportuniteiten.
  • Je kan netwerken uitbouwen en onderhouden.
  • Je gaat op diplomatieke wijze om met belangentegenstellingen.
