Als verpleegkundige op de afdeling ' heelkunde 567' werk je binnen de medische specialismen orthopedie, oftalmologie, plastische heelkunde en NKO. Op deze afdeling verzorg je patiënten die geplande ingrepen ondergaan. Daarnaast liggen er ook vaak traumapatiënten. De behandeling traumatologie richt zich op verwondingen (wonden, breuken, ontwrichtingen,...) die door ongevallen of geweld zijn veroorzaakt en op de chirurgische behandeling ervan.

Voor deze afdeling zijn we op zoek naar een verpleegkundige die:

  • instaat voor een professionele en integrale zorgverlening aan de patiënten.
  • bekwaam is om verpleegtechnische handelingen uit te voeren.
  • houdt van variatie en graag bijleert.
  • streeft naar een goede samenwerking met alle medewerkers op de afdeling en in het ziekenhuis op basis van wederzijds respect, vertrouwen en loyaliteit.
  • de nodige medicatie toedient volgens het medicatieschema.
  • de patiënt en zijn familie ondersteunt, informeert en opvangt.
  • zorgt voor de nodige administratie en registratie in het patiëntendossier.
  • rapporteert aan de hoofdverpleegkundige.

Wie zoeken we?

  • Je bent bachelor in de verpleegkunde of graduaat verpleegkundige.
  • Je hebt kennis van afdelingsgebonden verpleegproblemen en basisinzicht in de onderliggende pathologie en meest voorkomende ingrepen of interesse om dit te ontwikkelen.
  • Je kan constructief samenwerken in team maar werkt daarnaast ook heel zelfstandig.
  • Je bent bereid om je verder bij te scholen in de typische pathologie van de patiënten van de afdeling (ortho, trauma, plastische, oftalmo, NKO,...)
  • Je hebt aandacht voor de belevingswereld van de patiënt en zijn familie en bent klantgericht.
  • Je hebt een goede observatiezin en klinische blik.
