Je denkt actief mee over de verdere ontwikkeling van ons behandelaanbod en krijgt daarbij alle ruimte om je te verdiepen in uiteenlopende stoornissen bij het ouder wordende brein - van schizofrenie en verslaving tot trauma, bipolaire stoornissen en persoonlijkheidsproblematiek. Werk je graag afwisselend? Dan kun je deze functie combineren met werk in Rotterdam-Zuid.. Dit ga je doen Onze collega, psychiater Marian van Verschuer, is enthousiast over ons team: "Psychiater bij ouderen ambulant, waarom zou je dat willen? Ik was niet eerder werkzaam bij ouderen, maar ben intussen heel enthousiast over deze afdeling en de doelgroep, het is een bonte verzameling. De psychiatrie in deze levensfase hangt vaak nauw samen met wat zich aandient, bij een 'ouder wordende mens': veranderingen in de psychosociale omgeving, somatische problemen, eventuele beperkingen, cognitieve achteruitgang, verminderde veerkracht. Dat wordt allemaal meegenomen. En het mooie is dat er hiervoor ook een passend en breed behandelaanbod is. Door een veelzijdig team, met alle denkbare disciplines. En opleidelingen houden ons scherp. Behandeling gebeurt individueel, vaak met systeem, maar ook thuis, of in een (deeltijd) groep. Medisch-psychiatrisch zijn de laatste ontwikkelingen beschikbaar in nauwe samenwerking met de klinieken. Ik ervaar veel tevreden patiënten. En in het team goede samenwerking, maar ook autonomie. Kortom, een leuke werkplek. Kom erbij, we hebben een psychiater nodig!"
