Voor een internationaal bedrijf actief in de productie van diverse lifestyle-artikelen zijn we op zoek naar een Purchase Assistant in de regio van Wevelgem. De organisatie ontwikkelt en levert hoogwaardige producten met slimme functionaliteiten en een duurzaam karakter. Met een sterke focus op consumentgerichte innovatie en duurzaamheid op lange termijn, ontwerpt, produceert en verkoopt deze onderneming producten binnen diverse categorieën.

Jobomschrijving

Binnen de functie van Purchase Assistant ben je verantwoordelijk voor het versterken en verder uitbouwen van het aankoopbeleid van deze onderneming. Je speelt een sleutelrol in het volledige aankoopproces en volgt dit nauwgezet op. Daarbij houd je steeds de focus op kwaliteit, efficiëntie en kostoptimalisatie.

Je werkt nauw samen met interne stakeholders en externe partners om duurzame relaties uit te bouwen en de prestaties binnen de supply chain continu te verbeteren. Dankzij jouw analytische blik en proactieve aanpak draag je bij aan het realiseren van operationele doelstellingen en het verhogen van de operationele efficiëntie. Je takenpakket omvat onder andere:

  • Het onderhandelen van contracten, prijzen en leveringsvoorwaarden met leveranciers
  • Het implementeren en bewaken van de vooropgestelde aankoopstrategieën
  • Het evalueren en stimuleren van leveranciersprestaties om een consistente kwaliteit te garanderen
  • Het analyseren, verbeteren en optimaliseren van aankoopprocessen en -procedures
  • Het identificeren van kostenbesparingen en efficiëntiewinsten binnen de supply chain

Je zal terechtkomen in een dynamisch, innovatief en klein team met zowel operationele als strategische aankopers.

  • Je hebt een bachelor of bent gelijkwaardig door ervaring
  • Je hebt enkele jaren werkervaring in een vergelijkbare rol binnen een aankoopafdeling
  • Je bent communicatief, nauwkeurig en analytisch
  • Je hebt ervaring met ERP- of SAP-systemen
  • Je kan zowel zelfstandig, als in team werken
  • Je bent naast het Nederlands ook professioneel in het Engels, kennis van Frans en Duits zijn een plus
