The posting

Onze klant maakt deel uit van een familiale groep en is een belangrijke Europese leverancier van hoogwaardige ingrediënten en grondstoffen met toegevoegde waarde voor de feed- en foodindustrie. Ze zijn gelegen in de haven van Zeebrugge en maken gebruik van de waterwegen om hun grondstoffen op een duurzame manier aan te leveren. Om de groeiende vraag bij te houden, investeren ze continu om hun producten en diensten te verbeteren.

Momenteel zijn ze op zoek naar een Purchase & Sales Representative.

In deze veelzijdige functie ben je verantwoordelijk voor:

  • Het opbouwen, versterken en behouden van langdurige samenwerkingen met klanten, prospecten en leveranciers.
  • Het identificeren van leveranciers, onderhandelen over de beste voorwaarden en het afsluiten van contracten voor grondstoffen.
  • Het realiseren van omzetdoelen, afsluiten van verkoopcontracten en afstemmen van verkoopactiviteiten op productieplanning.
  • Het signaleren van trends en kansen en het implementeren van strategieën om concurrentievoordeel te behalen.
  • Het zorgvuldig opstellen en bijhouden van rapportages over omzet, prijsmarges en marktontwikkelingen.
  • Het behalen van de gebudgetteerde omzet en het detecteren van klantbehoeften.
  • Onderhandelen over prijzen en voorwaarden met klanten en leveranciers.
  • Administratieve opvolging van contracten, offertes en bestellingen.

Wat wij van jou verwachten:

  • Een hoge opleiding of gelijkwaardige ervaring.
  • Minimaal enkele jaren ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie.
  • Kennis van HACCP, voedselveiligheid en relevante standaarden.
  • Vloeiend in Nederlands, Frans en Engels; basiskennis Duits is een pluspunt.
  • Goede beheersing van MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) en ERP-systemen.
  • Een proactieve, strategische en resultaatgerichte mindset.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en een klantgerichte instelling.
