Ranson is een onafhankelijke familiale onderneming, opgericht in 1948 en vandaag actief in de derde generatie. Vanuit ons hoofdkantoor in Harelbeke bedienen wij meer dan 4.000 foodprofessionals: bakkers, patissiers, chocolatiers, glaciers en horeca-uitbaters, evenals grote industriële en retailklanten. Wij zijn dé one-stop shop voor premium ingrediënten, halffabrikaten en finishing touches. Met een eigen vloot van 62 vrachtwagens (4 temperatuurzones) en sites in België en het Verenigd Koninkrijk groeien wij internationaal - met behoud van de nuchterheid en gedrevenheid van een familiebedrijf.

Jobomschrijving

Ben jij de kwaliteitsbewaker die Ranson naar een nog hoger niveau tilt? Heb jij een scherp oog voor voedselveiligheid, certificeringen en continue verbetering - én de drive om een heel bedrijf mee te nemen in die cultuur? Dan is dit jouw uitdaging.

Over de rol

Als QESH Manager ben je de onafhankelijke bewaker van voedselveiligheid, kwaliteit, milieu, veiligheid en duurzaamheid binnen Ranson. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de CEO en fungeert als autoriteit op het vlak van normen, risico's en continue verbetering, dwars doorheen alle afdelingen. Je stuurt een team van QESH Officers en kwaliteitsmedewerkers aan en werkt nauw samen met productie, supply chain, inkoop, sales en directie.

Je hebt een duidelijk mandaat: beslissingsbevoegdheid over de vrijgave en afkeuring van goederen en kwaliteitsdocumenten, leveranciersbeoordeling en productlancering. QESH is bij Ranson geen afterthought, maar een fundamentele strategische pijler.

Wat ga je doen?

Voedselveiligheid & compliance

  • Beheer en actualisering van HACCP-, VACCP- en TACCP-systemen.
  • Coördinatie van technische dossiers en opvolging van FAVV-dossiers en verzekeringsdossiers.

Kwaliteitsmanagementsysteem, certificering & audits

  • Beheer van het kwaliteitsmanagementsysteem (procedures, werkinstructies, documentbeheer, productspecificaties, etikettering).
  • Centrale coördinatie van alle certificeringen, waaronder IFS, BRC (incl. Agents & Brokers), FCA, BIO, RSPO, ACS Groothandel, Choprabisco, Rainforest Alliance en Fairtrade.

Leveranciers, klachten & crisisbeheer

  • Leveranciersselectie, -beoordeling en risicoanalyse inzake productkwaliteit, voedselveiligheid en fraudegevoeligheid - één van de kerntaken binnen deze rol.
  • Interpretatie van incidenten, non-conformiteiten en klachten, met opvolging van de juiste corrigerende en preventieve maatregelen. Ondersteuning bij exportformaliteiten en internationale compliancevereisten.

Teamleiding, cultuur & continue verbetering

  • Aansturing van het QESH-team en nauwe samenwerking met de verschillende business units.
  • Uitbouw van een sterke voedselveiligheids- en kwaliteitscultuur via opleidingen en coaching op alle niveaus.

Preventie & duurzaamheid

  • Aansturing van de preventieadviseur, inclusief opvolging van het jaaractieplan en het globaal preventieplan.
  • Opvolging van duurzaamheidsthema's (o.a. VSME-rapportering, carbon footprint).

Wat breng jij mee?

  • Master in een relevante richting (voedingstechnologie, bio-ingenieur, biochemie of gelijkwaardig door ervaring).
  • Minimaal 5 jaar relevante QESH-ervaring in een foodomgeving, bij voorkeur in een handels- of productiecontext.
  • Diepgaande kennis van HACCP, BRC, IFS en aanverwante certificeringsstandaarden.
  • Je bent vloeiend in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels.
  • Ervaring met SAP is een pluspunt.
  • Ervaring met teamleiding en het coachen van medewerkers.
  • Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden: jij verbindt mensen rond kwaliteit.
  • Analytisch, gestructureerd en besluitvaardig.
  • Proactieve instelling: jij signaleert risico's voor ze problemen worden.
