The posting

Waar draait het om? Als QHSE Adviseur help je kwaliteit, gezondheid, veiligheid en milieu op de vloot en op kantoor op orde te houden en steeds beter te maken. Je zorgt dat de normen (ISM Code, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, ISO 50001, de Safety Culture Ladder en de CO₂-Prestatieladder) niet alleen op papier kloppen maar ook echt geleefd worden. Je rapporteert aan de QHSE Manager en werkt samen met een ervaren senior en een junior adviseur.

Wat ga je doen?Je werkt ongeveer half aan boord en half op kantoor. Aan boord doe je inspecties en interne audits, geef je trainingen en praat je met de internationale bemanning over veilig werken, dus Engels is in de operatie je werktaal, op kantoor Nederlands. Bij een incident onderzoek je samen met collega's wat er gebeurd is en zorg je dat er iets mee gebeurt. Op kantoor houd je dossiers, rapportages, procedures en certificeringen bij en werk je dashboards en data over kwaliteit en milieu uit. Regelgeving groeit, dus er wordt ook gekeken hoe de systemen slimmer en meer geautomatiseerd kunnen. Daar mag jij een stem in hebben.

Je deelt je week grotendeels zelf in. Liggen er schepen in de haven, dan ga je aan boord. Liggen ze er niet, dan werk je aan rapportages en projecten. Af en toe bezoek je een schip in het buitenland, vooral in Europa. Dat kies je grotendeels zelf. Met meer ervaring leid je interne audits en zet je verbeteracties uit.

Wie zoeken we? Iemand met hbo werk- en denkniveau die zelfsturend is, initiatief neemt en snel kan schakelen. Je hoeft niet alles al te kunnen. Kom je uit de praktijk en wil je ook de rapportages in? Of heb je vooral achter het bureau gewerkt en wil je nu aan boord? Beide kan. Een maritieme achtergrond is een pre, affiniteit met veiligheid of de scheepvaart is genoeg. Een certificaat als internal auditor of ervaring met offshore en DP-schepen is mooi meegenomen, maar geen vereiste.
