Heb jij een technische achtergrond, kun je tekeningen lezen en krijg je energie van kwaliteitscontrole waarbij zowel het product als de documentatie moet kloppen? Als Quality Control Engineer controleer je materialen, onderdelen en producten op onder andere identificatie, maatvoering en afwerking. Je beoordeelt zowel metalen als andere technische componenten en legt jouw bevindingen zorgvuldig vast. Ongeveer 35procent van je tijd ben je praktisch bezig met controles. De overige tijd besteed je aan documentatie, registratie en rapportage. Je verdient 2.850 tot 4.000 bruto per maand, afhankelijk van jouw kennis en ervaring.

Als Quality Control Engineer maak je onderdeel uit van de afdeling QESH/QC en zorg je ervoor dat materialen, onderdelen en producten voldoen aan de gestelde technische en kwaliteitseisen. Je voert ingangs-, proces- en uitgangscontroles uit en beoordeelt daarbij verschillende soorten onderdelen. Dat varieert van staal, aluminium en koperlegeringen tot meer specifieke technische componenten.

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

uitvoeren van ingangs-, proces- en uitgangscontroles; controleren van inkomende materialen en onderdelen; controleren van identificatie, maatvoering en afwerking; beoordelen of onderdelen voldoen aan technische tekeningen en specificaties; controleren van metalen onderdelen van onder andere staal, aluminium en koperlegeringen; beoordelen van andere technische componenten, zoals wielen, aandrijfcomponenten, houten delen en polyester onderdelen; controleren en verwerken van bijbehorende kwaliteitsdocumentatie; registreren en rapporteren van bevindingen; terugkoppelen van resultaten aan de betrokken afdelingen; signaleren en vastleggen van afwijkingen; aandragen van verbetervoorstellen; samenwerken met collega's van onder andere Quality, Engineering en Production; waar nodig uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles bij leveranciers. De functie bestaat voor ongeveer 35procent uit praktische controles. De overige tijd besteed je aan het verwerken, beoordelen en controleren van documentatie.

Je werkt voornamelijk op de productielocatie in Limburg. Incidenteel bezoek je tijdens een dagtrip een leverancier in Nederland of het buitenland voor een controle of beoordeling.
