Working at the VTS office Various operational teams work within the office, including transport planning and customer service. Together, they are responsible for ensuring efficient and careful handling of shipments: from precise planning to the swift and effective resolution of any issues. This requires a clear overview, the ability to cope with pressure and direct lines of communication with drivers, warehouse teams and customers. Through direct communication amongst themselves, they work together to ensure that agreements are honoured and that quality is demonstrably maintained. Working at VTS in an office environment Dedicated IT and an independent quality department A key distinguishing feature of VTS is our in-house IT department. IT is developed and managed entirely in-house. This enables systems to be adapted quickly to practical needs and to the high standards of pharmaceutical logistics. Transport, warehousing, monitoring and customer portals are all interconnected, ensuring that information is reliable and immediately available. Furthermore, VTS has an independent quality department. This department monitors and develops quality processes in accordance with GDP and GMP guidelines and collaborates across the organisation with all teams. Quality is therefore an integral part of day-to-day work both in the office and on the shop floor.
