Voor een internationale productieomgeving in de regio Ieper ben ik op zoek naar een Quality Leader die verantwoordelijkheid wil nemen over kwaliteit en voedselveiligheid en tegelijk mee wil bouwen aan de verdere professionalisering van de organisatie. Je krijgt in deze rol een brede verantwoordelijkheid: van het bewaken van kwaliteitssystemen en compliance tot het aansturen van een kwaliteitsteam en het realiseren van verbetertrajecten. Je bent zichtbaar aanwezig op de werkvloer, werkt nauw samen met de verschillende afdelingen en vormt een belangrijke sparringpartner voor het management.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruitzien?

  • Je bepaalt mee de richting van het kwaliteits- en voedselveiligheidsbeleid en zorgt ervoor dat dit wordt vertaald naar duidelijke processen en acties.
  • Je staat in voor het beheer en de verdere optimalisatie van het kwaliteitssysteem, rekening houdend met wetgeving, certificeringsvereisten en verwachtingen van klanten.
  • Je organiseert en begeleidt interne en externe audits, inspecties en certificeringsmomenten en zorgt ervoor dat actiepunten effectief worden opgevolgd.
  • Je gebruikt kwaliteitsdata, klachten, afwijkingen en KPI's om terugkerende problemen bloot te leggen en gericht verbetermaatregelen op te zetten.
  • Je werkt samen met productie, supply chain en andere stakeholders aan het voorkomen van kwaliteits- en voedselveiligheidsrisico's.
  • Je neemt de dagelijkse leiding over het kwaliteitsteam, coacht medewerkers en zorgt voor verdere ontwikkeling van kennis en expertise.
  • Je stimuleert een cultuur waarin kwaliteit gedragen wordt door de volledige organisatie en niet uitsluitend door de kwaliteitsafdeling.
  • Je onderhoudt contacten met klanten, leveranciers, certificeringsorganisaties en bevoegde instanties voor dossiers rond kwaliteit en compliance.
  • Je volgt veranderingen in normen, wetgeving en voedselveiligheid actief op en zorgt voor een correcte implementatie binnen de organisatie.
  • Je rapporteert aan het management over de belangrijkste kwaliteitsresultaten en formuleert concrete adviezen en verbeterinitiatieven.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma in voeding, bio-industrie, chemie of een vergelijkbare technische of wetenschappelijke richting.
  • Je hebt verschillende jaren ervaring opgebouwd binnen Quality Assurance, Quality Management of Food Safety in een productieomgeving.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met kwaliteitssystemen en normen zoals HACCP, IFS, BRC en aanverwante voedselveiligheidsstandaarden.
