Doel van de functie

  • Uitbouwen, bewaken en optimaliseren van het kwaliteitsmanagementsysteem conform BRC HACCP en relevante wetgeving.
  • Organiseren en voorzitten van maandelijkse plantkwaliteitsmeetings, en wekelijks rapporteren van kwaliteits‑KPI's
  • Het initiëren van corrigerende en preventieve acties met duidelijke actieopvolging en rapportering.
  • Uitvoeren en opvolgen van interne audits, klantenaudits en certificatie-audits.
  • Initiëren en begeleiden van verbeteringsprojecten, in samenwerking met maintenance, productie, planning,...die zorgen voor gestandaardiseerde processen, een hogere first‑time‑right en een efficiëntere productieflow

Daarnaast focussen deze initiatieven op het verbeteren van productkwaliteit, door het reduceren van microbiologische risico's, het verlagen van klachten en non-conformiteiten,

  • Aansturen, coachen en ontwikkelen van de Quality Officer.
  • Samenwerken met customer service om klant specifieke vragen en eisen rond kwaliteit, voedselveiligheid, productspecificaties correct te beantwoorden en te garanderen via interne processen.
  • Opvolgen van de kwaliteitsrichtlijnen, beleidsupdates en standaarden die door HQ worden bepaald, en deze vertalen naar duidelijke procedures voor de site.

Profiel

  • Master in Voedingsmiddelentechnologie, Bio‑ingenieur of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in een kwaliteit, en/of productontwikkeling binnen de voedingsindustrie.
  • Grondige kennis van BRC, HACCP en relevante voedselveiligheidswetgeving.
  • Aantoonbare ervaring in een food productieomgeving, waardoor je de dagelijkse operationele realiteit begrijpt en kwaliteitsvereisten vlot kan vertalen naar de werkvloer.
  • Sterke communicator die medewerkers weet te begeleiden, te inspireren en te motiveren.
  • Analytisch, gestructureerd en resultaatgericht.
  • Hands‑on, proactief en graag aanwezig op de werkvloer.
