The posting

Voor een sterk groeiende voedingsproducent in West-Vlaanderen ben ik op zoek naar een gedreven Quality Manager. In deze brede sleutelrol combineer je verantwoordelijkheid over kwaliteit en voedselveiligheid met productontwikkeling, recepturen en procesoptimalisatie. Je komt terecht in een onderneming met korte communicatielijnen, waar je rechtstreeks samenwerkt met de bedrijfsleiding en veel ruimte krijgt om initiatieven te nemen.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruitzien?

  • Je neemt de verantwoordelijkheid over het kwaliteits- en voedselveiligheidsbeleid en bouwt het QMS verder uit.
  • Je waakt over HACCP, voedingswetgeving en relevante kwaliteitsnormen zoals BRC, IFS en/of FSSC 22000.
  • Je beheert productspecificaties, grondstoffen, allergenen, traceerbaarheid en kwaliteitsdocumentatie.
  • Je behandelt klachten en afwijkingen en vertaalt deze naar structurele verbeteracties en CAPA's.
  • Je coördineert interne, klant- en certificatieaudits.
  • Je trekt mee aan productontwikkeling: van nieuwe recepturen en ingrediënten tot producttesten en houdbaarheid.
  • Je werkt samen met Productie, Aankoop en Directie rond nieuwe producten en procesoptimalisaties.
  • Je analyseert het bestaande productgamma en identificeert opportuniteiten rond kwaliteit, kostprijs en efficiëntie.
  • Je verhoogt het kwaliteits- en hygiënebewustzijn op de werkvloer via opleiding en begeleiding.
  • Je volgt relevante markttrends, innovaties en wijzigingen in de voedingswetgeving op.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • Je beschikt over een Bachelor- of Masterdiploma in een relevante richting, zoals Voedingsmiddelentechnologie, Bio-ingenieurswetenschappen, Industriële Wetenschappen of Agro- en Biotechnologie.
  • Je hebt ervaring binnen Quality, Food Safety en/of R&D in de voedingssector.
