Voor een dynamische, internationale speler in de voedingssector in de regio Middelkerke ben ik op zoek naar een gedreven Quality Manager / Hoofd Kwaliteit & Voedselveiligheid. In deze sleutelrol ben je het inhoudelijke en strategische aanspreekpunt voor alle kwaliteitsvraagstukken, terwijl je met je voeten op de fabrieksvloer staat om teams te enthousiasmeren. Je komt terecht in een modern geautomatiseerde productieomgeving met een open bedrijfscultuur. Je krijgt de volle verantwoordelijkheid om de kwaliteitsstructuur naar het hoogste niveau te tillen en het kwaliteitsteam met enthousiasme te coachen.

Hoe zal jouw takenpakket eruitzien?

  • Je geeft leiding aan het kwaliteitsteam, stelt duidelijke prioriteiten en ondersteunt medewerkers in hun persoonlijke ontwikkeling.
  • Je draagt de eindverantwoordelijkheid voor het kwaliteitsmanagementsysteem en de borging van de voedselveiligheid over het gehele productieproces.
  • Je waakt over de continue naleving van HACCP-normen, wettelijke voorschriften en de specifieke eisen van internationale klanten.
  • Je treedt op als host bij certificeringsaudits (o.a. BRC/IFS), klantbezoeken en overheidsinspecties, en borgt de gestructureerde opvolging van auditresultaten.
  • Je voer grondige analyses uit bij kwaliteitsincidenten of klachten en stelt effectieve preventie- en actieplannen (CAPA) op.
  • Je leidt projecten gericht op procesoptimalisatie, risicoreductie en het verhogen van de operationele efficiëntie.
  • Je vormt de brug tussen QA en afdelingen zoals Operations, Procurement en Commercial Teams om kwaliteitsdoelen op elkaar af te stemmen.
  • Je onderhoudt de externe relaties met controle-instanties, leveranciers en auditoren inzake compliance en specificaties.
  • Je bouwt actief aan het kwaliteitsbewustzijn op de werkvloer door middel van training, coaching en zichtbaar leiderschap.
  • Je stuurt op kwaliteits-KPI's en vertaalt data-inzichten naar concrete, continue verbeteringen in de keten.

Wat verwachten wij van jou?

  • Een Bachelor of Master in Voedingsmiddelentechnologie, Bio-ingenieurswetenschappen, Voedingswetenschappen of een relevante chemische/technische richting.
  • Relevante ervaring in QA/QC in een industriële productieomgeving binnen de voeding.
  • Expertise in HACCP-systematiek, interne/externe auditing en GFSI-geaccrediteerde normen (zoals BRCGS, IFS of FSSC 22000).
