Voor deze speler uit regio Tielt zijn wij op zoek naar een ervaren R&D Chemical Process Engineer. Het bedrijf is wereldwijd actief binnen de brede textielsector en geldt op Europees niveau als marktleider in zijn niche. Met ruim 300 collega's realiseert deze organisatie jaarlijks een omzet van bijna €80 miljoen. Als deel van een internationale groep bepaalt deze speler de toekomst in haar niche.

Wat houdt de job in?

  • Als procesingenieur kom je terecht in een gevarieerde functie met veel eigen inbreng
  • Je ontwikkelt, coördineert en volgt procesverbeteringen op binnen de productie, met een focus op grondstoffen
  • Daarnaast leid je R&D-projecten waarbij je de toepassing van grondstoffen optimaliseert, rekening houdend met markttrends en klantvraag
  • Verder hou je een duidelijk overzicht bij van je projecten en resultaten, waarover je rapporteert aan de Plant Manager
  • Samen met collega's van productie en sales werk je mee aan de ontwikkeling en optimalisatie van producten
  • Tot slot vertaal je duurzaamheidsregelgeving en marktvraag naar concrete projecten, die je zelf test en valideert op de productievloer
  • Je behaalde een Masterdiploma of Doctoraat als Industrieel/Burgerlijk Ingenieur Chemie of Kunststoffen, of een andere proces-gerelateerde richting
  • Daarnaast heb je minstens drie jaar relevante ervaring in een industriële productieomgeving, met een hands-on combinatie van proces- en productiekennis
  • Je bent geen puur labo-profiel, maar iemand die zich eveneens thuis voelt bij testing en validatie rechtstreeks op de productievloer; verder sta je ervoor open om tot maximaal 15% van je tijd internationaal te reizen voor kennisdeling binnen de groep
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands, overige talenkennis is een troef
