The posting

  • Je analyseert nieuwe technische vraagstukken en onderzoekt welke oplossing het meest geschikt is.
  • Je ontwikkelt en implementeert embedded software in C en C++ voor de basisfunctionaliteiten van de machines.
  • Je bouwt testapplicaties en geautomatiseerde testen waarmee nieuwe ontwikkelingen betrouwbaar gevalideerd kunnen worden.
  • Je werkt mee aan complete machinebesturingen en brengt onder meer motorsturing, drivers, sensoren, communicatie en gebruikersinterfaces samen.
  • Je vormt de technische brug tussen de fysieke componenten van de machine en de bovenliggende gebruikerssoftware.
  • Je vertaalt nieuwe ideeën rond machineaansturing en componenten naar praktische, werkende oplossingen.
  • Je ondersteunt bestaande snijmachines en zoekt gericht naar mogelijkheden om prestaties, kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid verder te verbeteren.
  • Je stelt testplannen op en stemt de uitvoering hiervan af met de Test Engineer.
  • Je werkt binnen projecten intensief samen met collega's uit software, elektronica en mechanica en denkt mee over de volledige machineontwikkeling.
  • Je hebt een masteropleiding ICT afgerond of beschikt over een gelijkwaardig kennisniveau door relevante ervaring.
  • Je programmeert vlot in C en C++; kennis van Python is een extra troef.
  • Ervaring met embedded platformen zoals STM32 en realtime operating systems zoals FreeRTOS is mooi meegenomen.
  • Interesse of ervaring in motion control, motorsturing of machinebesturing geeft je een sterke basis voor deze functie.
  • Je hebt een uitgesproken interesse in machines en vindt het boeiend om software en fysieke techniek met elkaar te verbinden.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig en gestructureerd en hecht veel belang aan kwaliteit en betrouwbaarheid.
  • Je analyseert technische problemen grondig en zoekt actief naar praktische oplossingen.
  • Je neemt initiatief, brengt ideeën aan en denkt graag mee over nieuwe ontwikkelingen.
  • Je combineert creativiteit met een hands-on en praktisch inzicht.
