Daarbij combineer je mechanische engineering, creativiteit en een hands-on aanpak met aandacht voor modulariteit, snelle montage, stabiliteit, kwaliteit en kostenefficiëntie.

Wat ga je doen

Als R&D Mechanical Engineer speel je een belangrijke rol in de ontwikkeling van innovatieve mechanische producten en systemen voor de internationale markt van beMatrix. Je vertaalt technische uitdagingen, markt- en klantbehoeften naar slimme, maakbare en duurzame oplossingen. Je werkt nauw samen met collega's binnen R&D, Product Management, Operations, Productie, Aankoop en Quality en zorgt ervoor dat nieuwe ideeën niet alleen technisch sterk zijn, maar ook effectief geproduceerd en toegepast kunnen worden.

Productontwikkeling

→ Ontwikkelen van nieuwe mechanische oplossingen voor indoor- en outdoor toepassingen.

→ Ontwerpen met focus op modulariteit, snelle montage, stabiliteit, transporteerbaarheid en duurzaamheid.

→ Optimaliseren van bestaande producten en systemen op vlak van functionaliteit, kostprijs en productie-efficiëntie.

Engineering en validatie

→ Uitwerken en detailleren van mechanische ontwerpen in 3D CAD, bij voorkeur Autodesk Inventor.

→ Maken en ondersteunen van technische berekeningen en analyses.

→ Opstellen en uitvoeren van testplannen en analyseren van testresultaten.

→ Uitwerken van technische documentatie, handleidingen, test- en kwaliteitsrapporten.

Prototyping en industrialisatie

→ Ontwerpen vanuit een Design for Manufacturing & Assembly-principes, met aandacht voor productie, montage, aankoop en kostprijs.

→ Ondersteunen van prototypes en eerste productieruns.

→ Samenwerken met productie en leveranciers om ontwerpen succesvol te industrialiseren.

→ Praktisch analyseren en oplossen van technische problemen en bijdragen aan verbeteringen van producten en productieprocessen.
