The posting

Voor een innovatieve speler binnen de chemische sector regio Bornem zoeken wij een R&D Operator die graag meewerkt aan de ontwikkeling en optimalisatie van hoogwaardige materialen.

In deze functie werk je op het raakvlak van productie en ontwikkeling. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het testen en optimaliseren van nieuwe en bestaande formulaties op labo- en pilootlijnen. Je draagt actief bij aan het verbeteren van processen en producten die worden ingezet in uiteenlopende toepassingen.

Je werkt in een ploegenstelsel (vroege/dag/late, maandag t.e.m. vrijdag).

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Testen van nieuwe formulaties op labo-extrusielijnen en analyseren van maakbaarheid en procescondities
  • Optimaliseren van bestaande masterbatches volgens klantvereisten
  • Voorbereiden van materialen: afwegen, mengen en samenstellen van blends
  • Bedienen, ombouwen en afstellen van extrusiemachines
  • Uitvoeren van eerstelijnsonderhoud en ondersteunen bij technische interventies
  • Assisteren bij pilootproeven om productprestaties te evalueren
  • Zorgen voor orde, netheid en naleving van veiligheids-, ISO- en GMP-richtlijnen
  • Actief bijdragen aan verbeteringen en deelnemen aan opleidingen
  • Je hebt een A2-diploma in een chemische of technische richting (bijv. mechanica, elektriciteit, procestechnieken)
  • Ervaring als operator binnen een extrusie-omgeving is een sterk pluspunt
  • Bij voorkeur heb je een heftruckattest
  • Zeer goede kennis van het Nederlands en basiskennis Engels
  • Je werkt zelfstandig, nauwkeurig en neemt initiatief
  • Veiligheid staat voor jou altijd op de eerste plaats
  • Teamspeler met een positieve en proactieve ingesteldheid
