Jij hebt de stukken voorbereid, het proces scherp neergezet en de juiste vragen vooraf al met raadsleden doorgenomen. Wanneer het debat start, zie je dat jouw voorbereiding werkt: de discussie is helder, zorgvuldig en inhoudelijk sterk. Dit is jouw impact. Als raadsadviseur binnen de griffie van de Gemeente Hoeksche Waard werk je in het kloppend hart van de lokale democratie. Samen met 6 collega's adviseer en ondersteun je de gemeenteraad, commissies en individuele raadsleden. Je doet dat onafhankelijk, scherp en met gevoel voor politieke verhoudingen. Je hebt een eigen aandachtsgebied, sociaal, fysiek of bestuurlijk, waarin jij dé sparringpartner bent. Je adviseert over raadsinstrumenten, processtappen en bestuurlijke afwegingen. Je denkt vooruit: welke route is zorgvuldig? Waar zitten risico's? Hoe zorgen we dat besluitvorming transparant en goed onderbouwd verloopt? Je onderhoudt actief je netwerk binnen de organisatie. Je stemt af met beleidsadviseurs, schakelt met het college en bewaakt de verbinding tussen raad en ambtelijke organisatie. Tegelijkertijd zorg je ervoor dat de stem van inwoners, ondernemers en belangengroepen wordt gehoord. Jij stimuleert participatie en zorgt dat signalen uit de samenleving op de juiste plek landen. Tijdens commissies en raadsvergaderingen ben jij als secretaris een stabiele factor. Je ondersteunt de voorzitter, bewaakt procedures en houdt overzicht. Ook wanneer het debat stevig wordt, blijf jij rustig en scherp. Je weet hoe het spel gespeeld wordt en hoe je het zuiver houdt. Dit is geen rol aan de zijlijn. Dit is een positie met invloed.
