Dit ga je doen Als radiodiagnostisch laborant ben jij voor veel patiënten het eerste gezicht van onze afdeling Radiologie & Nucleaire Geneeskunde. Je ontvangt en begeleidt patiënten van de verpleegafdelingen, spoedeisende hulp en poliklinieken, waarbij je hen met jouw warmte en expertise geruststelt. Afhankelijk van jouw ervaring en voorkeur werk je op één of meerdere modaliteiten, zoals echografie, MRI, CT, Bucky en interventie. Je krijgt hierbij volop ruimte om opleidingen te volgen, je te specialiseren in verschillende technieken en door te groeien naar nieuwe functies. Je werkt nauw samen met radiologen en speelt een cruciale rol bij onderzoeken, waardoor je werk veel variatie biedt en je niet beperkt bent tot donkere ruimtes. Op de OK krijg je ondersteuning van medisch studenten, die een groot deel van de doorlichting op zich nemen. Tegelijkertijd werk je op de hybride OK aan hoogwaardige en complexe ingrepen, zoals embolisaties en dotterbehandelingen, samen met interventieradiologen. Bovendien krijg je bij ons de vrijheid om protocollen zelfstandig aan te passen en je kennis en vaardigheden in te zetten voor verbeteringen van de zorg.
