Als rangeerder spoorwegen (Aspirant Senior Ground Operator – SGO) voer je technisch-visuele controles uit op treinonderdelen, zoals reminstallaties, koppelingen en lading. Je detecteert eventuele beschadigingen en beoordeelt of een trein veilig kan vertrekken. Daarnaast controleer je of gevaarlijke goederen correct en volgens de geldende voorschriften worden vervoerd. Je koppelt wagons aan en af en werkt voornamelijk buiten in een ploegensysteem met vroege, late en nachtshifts.

Dit heb je nodig voor de job

  • Je respecteert de veiligheidsvoorschriften strikt.
  • Je bent fysiek in staat om zwaar werk uit te voeren, zoals tillen, bukken en het aan- en afkoppelen van wagons.
  • Je kunt zelfstandig werken zonder voortdurend toezicht.
  • Je bent bereid om in ploegensystemen te werken.
  • Je durft indien nodig beslissingen te nemen.
  • Je leert snel en kunt nieuwe kennis vlot in de praktijk toepassen.
  • Je beschikt over een rijbewijs B en kunt met een handgeschakelde wagen rijden.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands.
