Onze klant is een Belgische opslag- en logistieke dienstverlener gelegen in de haven van Antwerpen (Kallo).

Het bedrijf is gespecialiseerd in geconditioneerde en diepgevroren opslag en logistiek van voeding en andere temperatuurgevoelige goederen.

Ze bieden onder meer koel- en vriesmagazijnen, value-added services zoals verpakken, ompakken, labeling, order-picking, transport en douaneformaliteiten.

Onze klant maakt sinds 2022 deel uit van een van de grootste en meest geavanceerde leveranciers van temperatuurgecontroleerde logistieke oplossingen wereldwijd, met hoofdkantoor in de Verenigde Staten. Onze klant is actief in meer dan 20 landen en heeft miljoenen vierkante meters aan koel- en vriesopslag.

Wat doen ze?

  • Opslag van diepvriesproducten (vlees, vis, zuivel, groenten, etc.)
  • Cross-docking en order-picking
  • Laden en lossen van (container)schepen, vrachtwagens en treinen
  • Douaneformaliteiten en voedselveiligheidscertificering (o.a. IFS/BRC)
  • Distributie en transport

Jobomschrijving

In deze job als reachtruckchauffeur in Kallo wordt het volgende takenpakket toevertrouwd:

Jouw taken:

  • Bedienen van de reachtruck: Je verplaatst, laadt en lost pallets met diepgevroren goederen (zoals vlees, vis, groenten, enz.) op hoge stellingen (tot 12 meter hoogte)
  • Orderpicking: Je pickt bestellingen volgens instructies en verzamelt de juiste producten
  • Magazijntaken: Af en toe spring je bij met andere taken, zoals helpen bij het op orde houden van de werkplek of inventaris
  • Samenwerken: Je stemt je taken af met collega’s en werkt samen voor een snelle, veilige werkstroom
  • Veiligheid & netheid: Je werkt volgens strikte veiligheidsvoorschriften

Jouw werkomstandigheden en sfeer:

  • Je werkt in een team van magazijnmedewerkers en andere reachtruckchauffeurs
  • Tijdens piekperiodes is het drukker, maar meestal zijn de werktijden binnen daguren
  • Je vindt het helemaal niet erg om te werken in koude omstandigheden, want daar krijg je natuurlijk beschermende kleding en een verwarmde cabine voor!
  • Er is ruimte voor overleg en je helpt elkaar als collega’s
