Rechterhand Head of Finance (M/V/X) - Regio Gent

Voor een internationale productieonderneming met sterke lokale verankering in regio Gent, is Robert Half op zoek naar een Rechterhand Head of Finance (M/V/X).

Deze financieel gezonde organisatie maakt deel uit van een stabiele internationale groep en combineert ondernemerschap met een no-nonsense cultuur. De Belgische vestiging telt een 70-tal medewerkers en speelt een belangrijke rol binnen de verdere professionalisering en groei van de organisatie.

In deze functie werk je nauw samen met de huidige Head of Finance, met als doel op termijn deze rol over te nemen.

Functie

Je wordt betrokken bij het volledige financiële beheer van de Belgische entiteit en krijgt een breed en gevarieerd takenpakket:

  • Inboeken van aankoop-, verkoop- en banktransacties;
  • Opstellen van btw-aangiftes;
  • Voorbereiden van maand- en jaarafsluitingen
  • Voorbereiden van jaarrekening en vennootschapsbelasting in samenwerking met de Head of Finance;
  • Ondersteunen bij financiële rapportering naar directie en internationaal hoofdkantoor;
  • Samenwerken met externe partners zoals revisoren;
  • Opvolgen van cashflow en liquiditeiten;
  • Actief meewerken aan optimalisatie van rapportering en financiële processen;
  • Meedenken over implementatie en verdere ontwikkeling van ERP- en rapporteringstools.

Je krijgt de kans om stap voor stap meer verantwoordelijkheden op te nemen binnen finance en uit te groeien tot eindverantwoordelijke voor de financiële afdeling.

Profiel

Wij zoeken een hands-on finance professional die zich thuis voelt in een eerder bescheiden, stabiele en ondernemende organisatiecultuur.

  • Bachelor Accountancy-Fiscaliteit of gelijkwaardig door ervaring;
  • Enkele jaren relevante ervaring binnen accounting of finance;
  • Hands-on actief binnen de boekhouding;
  • Goede kennis van Belgische boekhouding; kennis van BEGAAP en IFRS is een plus;
  • Leergierig en ambitieus om door te groeien;
  • Sterk analytisch en organisatorisch ingesteld;
  • Goede kennis Nederlands en professionele basis Engels; kennis Frans is een plus;
  • Je voelt je comfortabel in een brede operationele rol en werkt graag autonoom.
