In deze unieke rol combineer je technische vaardigheden, klinisch inzicht en warme zorg voor de patiënt. Je staat klaar op een van de meest kwetsbare momenten in iemands leven: vóór en direct na een operatie. Wij leiden je op tot volwaardig recoveryverpleegkundige. Wat ga je doen? Als recovery verpleegkundige in opleiding ben je een onmisbare schakel op het OK-complex. Je bent er voor de patiënt vóór de operatie - je stelt gerust, stelt vragen, en vangt signalen op. En ná de ingreep? Dan ben jij het eerste gezicht dat iemand weer ziet. Jij zorgt dat alles goed blijft gaan - zowel fysiek als mentaal. Wat je leert: - Het bewaken van vitale functies als een pro; - Snel en doortastend reageren bij complicaties; - Warm en empathisch begeleiden in een spannende fase; - Samenwerken met een topteam van OK, IC en verpleegafdelingen. Je werkt op drie verschillende HMC-locaties (Westeinde, Antoniushove en Bronovo) - dé plek waar trauma-, oncologische én geplande operaties samenkomen. Elke dag is anders: van een spoedkeizersnede tot een complexe oncologische ingreep of multitrauma. Over de opleiding De opleiding tot recovery verpleegkundige is een éénjarige vervolgopleiding op hbo-niveau, erkend door het CZO. De opleiding start eenmaal per jaar.
