The posting

Voor een toonaangevende industriële speler in Oost-Vlaanderen zoeken we een Reliability Engineer die mee wil bouwen aan een performante, veilige en toekomstbestendige productieomgeving. Je komt terecht in een bestaande, sterke rol binnen het maintenance team, waar je het verschil maakt door stilstanden te vermijden en installaties continu te verbeteren.

Functieomschrijving Als Reliability Engineer ben je de spilfiguur tussen productie, onderhoud en engineering. Jij zorgt ervoor dat kritische installaties betrouwbaar, veilig en zo efficiënt mogelijk draaien.

Concreet zal je:

  • Analyses uitvoeren van storingen en terugkerende problemen (Root Cause Analysis, 5xWhy, Ishikawa, …).
  • Betrouwbaarheid van installaties verhogen via gerichte verbeteracties en projecten.
  • Onderhoudsstrategieën opzetten en optimaliseren (preventief, predictief, condition based).
  • Kritische installaties in kaart brengen (criticality analyses) en risico’s objectief inschatten.
  • Data uit het onderhoudssysteem en sensoren gebruiken om trends te detecteren en falen te voorspellen.
  • Nauw samenwerken met techniekers, supervisors en ingenieurs om oplossingen uit te werken én te implementeren.
  • Technische standaarden en best practices mee definiëren en uitrollen binnen de site.
  • Rapporteren over betrouwbaarheid, downtime, MTBF/MTTR en voorstellen doen om deze continu te verbeteren.

Idealiter herken je jezelf in het volgende:

  • Bachelor of master in een technische richting (elektromechanica, industrieel ingenieur, werktuigkunde, automatisatie, …) of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Enkele jaren ervaring in een industriële omgeving (productie, procesindustrie, chemie, voeding, …) is een plus.
  • Je krijgt energie van problemen uitpluizen tot op het bot en denkt in oorzaken en oplossingen, niet in symptomen.
  • Kennis van of interesse in reliability tools zoals RCA, FMEA, TPM, RCM, …
  • Je bent analytisch sterk, maar tegelijk ook hands-on genoeg om naar de vloer te gaan, mee te kijken en te testen.
  • Je kan vlot schakelen en communiceren met techniekers, operators én management.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands; Engels is mooi meegenomen.
