Een zeer afwisselende baan, waarin je echt je handen uit de mouwen kan steken. Via trainingen en 'learning on the job' heb jij bovendien de mogelijkheid jezelf op te werken binnen Drilling of binnen Rigging en Lifting. Een vacature voor Roustabout kom je ook tegen als Deckhand. Het werken als Roustabout begint met een werkoverleg. Bijzonderheden in de planning worden doorgesproken en samen met je team trek je een plan voor vandaag. Ieder project is anders en jouw planning verandert gedurende de dag nog vaak. Jij bent overal op de boorvloer te vinden. Samen met het team van Rigging en Lifting zorg jij dat alle voorbereidingen getroffen zijn voor de uitvoeringswerkzaamheden en dat het hijsplan kan worden uitgevoerd. Je assisteert bij de kraanwerkzaamheden, pleegt onderhoud, doet schilderwerk, maakt schoon, helpt rondom het helikopterplatform en voert logistieke werkzaamheden uit. Ook op de boorvloer assisteer je waar je kunt. Onshore heb je de mogelijkheid om tijdelijk als Rigger te worden ingezet. Kortom: jij bent de allround medewerker op locatie die altijd te vinden is waar de actie is. Of je nu op verschillende platforms in de Noordzee aan de slag gaat als offshore Roustabout of door heel het land wordt ingezet in de onshore industrie; elke werkdag is anders.
