Veiligheid staat voor jou op de eerste plaats. Je bent matuur, neemt verantwoordelijkheid en staat stevig in je schoenen. Bovendien werk je graag zelfstandig en durf je mensen aan te spreken wanneer de veiligheid in het gedrang komt.

Voor onze klant in Antwerpen, een industriële omgeving op een scheepswerf zijn we op zoek naar een gemotiveerde Safety Officer. Ervaring binnen safety is mooi meegenomen, maar geen absolute vereiste. Maturiteit, verantwoordelijkheidszin en motivatie vinden we minstens even belangrijk.

Jouw taken

  • Opvolging van het Permit to Work (PTW)-proces en controle van werkvergunningen.
  • Overleg met onderaannemers over de geplande werkzaamheden.
  • Controleren of de werkomstandigheden overeenkomen met de veiligheidsvoorwaarden.
  • Uitvoeren van dagelijkse veiligheidsrondes en inspecties aan boord.
  • Signaleren van onveilige situaties en medewerkers of aannemers hierop aanspreken.
  • Registreren en opvolgen van incidenten en bijna-ongevallen via tablet.
  • Administratieve opvolging en rapportering van veiligheidszaken.

Tijdens de veiligheidsrondes let je onder andere op valgevaar, vluchtwegen, elektrische installaties, blusmiddelen, werken op verschillende niveaus en andere mogelijke veiligheidsrisico's.

Jouw profiel

  • Matuur en verantwoordelijk, met een groot veiligheidsbewustzijn.
  • Zelfstandig kunnen werken en initiatief durven nemen.
  • Nauwkeurig en alert ingesteld.
  • Communicatief sterk en niet bang om anderen op een professionele manier aan te spreken.
  • Goede administratieve vaardigheden en degelijk kunnen rapporteren.
  • Vooral gemotiveerd om binnen safety aan de slag te gaan.

Een technische achtergrond, ervaring als Safety Officer of een attest Preventieadviseur niveau 3 zijn pluspunten, maar geen vereiste.
