Dan maken we graag kennis met je. Wij zoeken iemand die het vak van zeilmaker / tentenmaker wil leren, met de nadruk op het inmeten en monteren van bootkappen en tenten. Ervaring als zeilmaker is niet nodig. Belangrijker vinden we dat je handig bent, nauwkeurig werkt en graag nieuwe dingen leert. What will you do? We maken buiskappen, kuiptenten, bimini's, wintertenten en ander maatwerk voor de watersport. Je gaat samen met een ervaren collega op pad om kappen en tenten in te meten, bestaande situaties te bekijken en nieuwe producten te passen en monteren. Geen boot is hetzelfde. Je leert hoe je een goede oplossing bedenkt, hoe je maten nauwkeurig opneemt en hoe je ervoor zorgt dat een kap of tent uiteindelijk netjes past. We werken onder andere met een Proliner en 3D-scanner. Ook leer je hoe het werk in onze zeilmakerij wordt voorbereid en geproduceerd, zodat je het hele proces leert begrijpen. Naarmate je meer ervaring krijgt, kun je steeds zelfstandiger gaan werken. What are we looking for? Vooral technisch inzicht, handigheid en de wil om het vak te leren. Je hoeft geen ervaring te hebben met zeilen of bootkappen. Misschien heb je gewerkt in de techniek, montage, houtbewerking of een ander praktisch beroep. Of je bent gewoon erg handig en zoekt een vak waarin je jezelf verder kunt ontwikkelen. Je vindt het leuk om met je handen te werken, denkt in oplossingen en hebt oog voor detail.
