Een goede offerte begint met begrijpen wat de klant nodig heeft. Als Sales Engineer vertaal je technische vraagstukken naar haalbare oplossingen en heldere voorstellen. Een functie voor iemand die nieuwsgierig is naar de vraag achter de aanvraag en techniek graag combineert met klantcontact. Jouw rol als Sales Engineer Als Sales Engineer vorm je de schakel tussen klanten, projectmanagers en engineers. Aanvragen werk je uit tot duidelijke, scherpe en technisch kloppende offertes. De ene dag staat in het teken van calculaties, de andere dag van een klantbezoek of afstemming met een projectmanager. De samenwerking verschilt per project en hangt mede af van ervaring: - Soms werkt de projectmanager een aanvraag op hoofdlijnen uit en volgt van jouw hand een complete offerte. - Bij andere aanvragen neem je het voortouw, verzamel je technische input en stem je de details af met engineers. Zo zorgen we samen dat klanten begrijpen wat ze krijgen en waarom de voorgestelde oplossing past. Daarbij kijken we ook naar nieuwe technische mogelijkheden. Vooruitstrevend zijn betekent hier: alternatieven onderzoeken en verbeteringen voorstellen die voor de klant daadwerkelijk iets opleveren. Jij zorgt voor: ✅ Het uitwerken van technische calculaties en offertes ✅ Nauwe samenwerking met Project Managers, Engineers en leveranciers ✅ Het signaleren van technische kansen én risico's in klantaanvragen ✅ Opvolging van offertes en overdracht van verworven opdrachten aan Project Managers ✅ Technisch meedenken over toegepaste materialen, PLC-techniek en automatisering Ben je junior?
