De functie inhoud Als commercieel ingenieur zal jij deze taken hebben:

  • Als Sales Engineer ben je hét aanspreekpunt voor klanten en prospecten.
  • De bestaande klantenrelaties help je mee uitbouwen. Dit doe je door prijsaanvragen en calculaties correct te verwerken, alsook door offertebesprekingen te onderbouwen.
  • Je staat continu in contact met het engineeringsteam waarbij je samen de vraag van de klant analyseert: haalbaarheid van het project, mogelijkheden…
  • Jouw diepgaande technische kennis geeft jou inzichten in het gehele project. Je kunt ook steeds terugvallen op de Project Manager om ieder aspect van het project te kunnen bespreken.
  • Hoewel er kruisbestuiving is met de Project Manager, kun je zelf ook technische berekeningen maken.
  • Ondertussen zoek je ook steeds opnieuw naar nieuwe opportuniteiten in de markt. You go the extra mile om buiten het bestaande klantennetwerk te treden.

Onze klant De hoofdactiviteiten van deze werkzekere en dynamische organisatie is het engineeren van installaties in verschillende sectoren: metaal, recycling, bulkinstallaties… De organisatie zorgt voor industriële totaalprojecten en heeft verschillende units die los van elkaar werken. Voor ieder wat wils dus!

Er heerst een open cultuur en een goede werksfeer, ook al moet er nog steeds hard gewerkt worden (West-Vlaamse mentaliteit is present). Tussen de verschillende functies is er een goede dynamiek waarbij kruisbestuiving geen uitzondering is.

Leuke side note: het bedrijf zet zijn sportiefste beentje voor met hun loop – en wandelclub. Bezit jij onderstaande kwaliteiten als Sales engineer?

  • Jouw kennen en kunnen heb je geleerd tijdens jouw technische Masterstudie.
  • Daarnaast kun je ook terugvallen op jouw voorgaande saleservaringen. Daarbij is ervaring in de procesindustrie een groot pluspunt.
  • Je komt heel vaak in contact met klanten en prospecten. Een goede talenkennis (Nederlands, Frans en Engels) zijn dus wenselijk.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met de Project Manager, dus je bent goed communicatief alsook een gedreven en trouwe teamspeler. Kruisbestuiving in het team is belangrijk…
  • Het DNA van de organisatie straal je uit: expertise, doorzettingsvermogen en dynamiek…
