Ben jij een technisch talent met een passie voor de maritieme sector? Heb je ervaring met het onderhouden en herstellen van scheepsmotoren en andere scheepsinstallaties? Dan zijn wij op zoek naar jou! Als scheepsmechanicien te Zeebrugge ben je verantwoordelijk voor het onderhoud en de reparaties van verschillende scheepsonderdelen. Je speelt een cruciale rol in het waarborgen van de operationele betrouwbaarheid en veiligheid van onze schepen.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Uitvoeren van preventief onderhoud aan scheepsmotoren, hydraulische en pneumatische systemen en andere mechanische installaties.
  • Diagnose stellen en verhelpen van mechanische storingen en defecten.
  • Uitvoeren van reparaties en vervangingen van onderdelen, zowel op locatie als in de werkplaats.
  • Samenwerken met de technische dienst om verbeteringen en aanpassingen aan de installaties te implementeren.
  • Registreren van uitgevoerde werkzaamheden en rapporteren van bevindingen.
  • Waarborgen van de naleving van veiligheids- en milieuregels tijdens alle werkzaamheden.
  • Deelname aan storingsdiensten in geval van urgente problemen.

Afgeronde opleiding als scheepsmechanicien, werktuigkundige of vergelijkbaar.Ervaring met het onderhouden en repareren van scheepsmotoren en mechanische systemen.Kennis van hydrauliek, pneumatiek, elektrotechniek en scheepssystemen.Zelfstandig kunnen werken, maar ook goed functioneren binnen een team.Probleemoplossend vermogen en oog voor detail.Flexibiliteit en bereidheid om te reizen.Een maritieme achtergrond of ervaring in de scheepvaart is een pré.Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.
