Hou jij van de geur van massief hout en krijg je energie van authentiek schrijnwerk? Wij zoeken een schrijnwerker die zijn talent wil inzetten bij de restauratie van ramen, deuren en poorten in massieve houtsoorten. Ervaring met beeldwerk is een mooie plus. Heb je al eens een ploeg aangestuurd, dan kan je die kennis inzetten, maar belangrijker is je goesting om te groeien in dit ambacht. Of je nu een opleiding hout hebt gevolgd of vooral veel ervaring hebt opgebouwd: wat telt, is jouw passie voor werken met massief hout – want dat is helemaal anders dan plaatmateriaal.

Jij zal verantwoordelijk zijn voor de restauratie en het behoud van authentieke schrijnwerkelementen aan historische panden, kerken en monumenten. Zaken zoals ramen, deuren en poorten in massief hout komen aan bod en dus geen plaatmaterialen.

Een opsomming van het takenpakket:

  • Beoordelen van de staat
  • Uitfrezen van de kader
  • Vervangen van enkele beglazing door dubbel glas
  • Controle en behandeling van het beslag
  • Afstellen van deuren
  • Omkasting vervangen
  • Orde en netheid op de werf
  • ...

Jij zal steeds in de eerste plaats proberen te restaureren alvorens zaken te vervangen. Hierbij maak je gebruik van historische technieken en materialen. De werkzaamheden en voortgang registreer je met behulp van Aproplan. Zo behoud je een nauwkeurige registratie van de uitgevoerde restauratiewerken.

Je begeeft je naar het afgesproken oppikpunt, waar de ploegbaas jou en het team ophaalt om samen naar de werf te vertrekken. De werkdag start om 6u30 op de werf, deze zijn gelegen over gans België. Om 15u30 zit de dag er weer op, alles wordt proper achtergelaten en jullie keren terug naar huis.
