Onze klant is een middelgroot bouwbedrijf gevestigd in Kapellen dat deel uitmaakt van één van de grootste bouwgroepen van Europa. Ze specialiseren zich reeds meer dan 30 jaar in renovatie- en restauratieprojecten voornamelijk voor publieke instellingen en ook voor particulieren en private investeerders. De activiteiten omvatten onder andere het transformeren van stedelijk ingebed vastgoed, de renovatie van sociale woningbouwcomplexen en woonwijken, de renovatie van zwembaden en sportcomplexen, de renovatie en modernisering van scholen en de restauratie van historische panden in de meest brede zin.

Jobomschrijving

Als medewerker herstel/restauratie buitenschrijnwerk en timmerwerk zal je volgende taken uitvoeren:

  • Herstellen en restaureren van bestaande buitenschrijnwerkelementen zoals ramen, deuren, luiken, gevelbekleding en dakconstructies.
  • Vervaardigen, vervangen of aanpassen van hout- en schrijnwerkelementen volgens historisch of origineel model.
  • Uitvoeren van traditioneel timmerwerk, zowel op de werf als in het atelier.
  • Voorbereiden van houten onderdelen en materialen op basis van technische plannen en richtlijnen van de werfleider.
  • Afwerken en combineren van schrijnwerkelementen met aandacht voor detail en esthetiek.
  • Uitvoeren van kleine metsel- of voegwerken in functie van schrijnwerkherstel.
  • Bijdragen aan het duurzaam bewaren van het patrimonium door correct te werken volgens de geldende restauratieprincipes.
  • Correct en veilig gebruik van gereedschappen, machines en materialen.
  • Werken volgens de veiligheidsvoorschriften en zorgen voor orde en netheid op de werf.

Dit heb je nodig voor de job

  • Je hebt een passie voor herstel en restauratie, en beschikt over een gedegen kennis van traditioneel schrijnwerk en timmerwerk
  • Je hebt bij voorkeur een opleiding genoten in bouw, schrijnwerkerij of restauratie, of je hebt relevante ervaring in de sector
  • Je werkt grondig, hebt oog voor detail en respecteert de originele kenmerken van gebouwen
  • Je werkt graag in een team, maar kan ook zelfstandig opdrachten uitvoeren
  • Je bent flexibel, gemotiveerd en bereid om bij te leren (opleiding/restauratiefiche)
  • Je bent praktisch ingesteld en hebt een probleemoplossend denkvermogen
  • Respect voor veiligheid en kwaliteit zijn voor jou vanzelfsprekend
  • In het bezit van rijbewijs B
