In het kort: Je gaat als scrummaster een multidisciplinair team coachen, scrum- en SAFe-events faciliteren, belemmeringen wegnemen en de organisatie begeleiden in agile werken voor veilige, betrouwbare digitale voorzieningen. Opdrachtomschrijving De Scrummaster faciliteert het zelforganiserende, multidisciplinaire scrum team opdat het de doelstellingen behaalt en producten van hoge waarde creëert. Dit doet hij als onderdeel van het ontwikkelteam. De scrum master brengt teamleden de theorie, praktijk en regels van scrum bij en helpt deze te implementeren en te ondersteunen. Bovendien identificeert en elimineert hij belemmeringen (of laat dit doen) en helpt hij de interacties tussen het scrum team en de stakeholders daarbuiten te managen. De Scrummaster begrijpt het voortbrengingsproces (ontwerpen, bouwen, testen, beheren) en de automatisering ervan (development pipeline) zodat hij gesprekspartner is voor het team. Taken en verantwoordelijkheden Een scrummaster ondersteunt, coacht en faciliteert een productowner, door: - Het vinden van technieken voor een effectief Backlog management; - Het Scrum Team de noodzaak laten inzien om duidelijke en beknopte Backlog items te maken; - Inzicht verkrijgen in de product planning in een empirische omgeving; - Ervoor zorgdragen dat de Product Owner weet hoe de Backlog te ordenen zodat de maximale waarde verkregen kan worden; - Inzicht verkrijgen in en het beoefenen van agility; en, - Het faciliteren van Scrum gebeurtenissen wanneer gevraagd of nodig. Naar het team is de scrummaster een procesbegeleider, facilitator en coach, door: - Coachen van het Ontwikkelteam op het vlak van zelforganisatie en multidisciplinair werken; - Het Ontwikkelteam helpen bij het maken van producten van hoge waarde; - Het Ontwikkelteam helpen bij het meten en verbeteren van hun proces; - Het (laten) elimineren van belemmeringen, zodat het ontwikkelteam gefocust kan blijven op de doelstellingen; - Het faciliteren van Scrum en SAFe gebeurtenissen wannee.
