Over de organisatie

Voor een internationale marktleider binnen transport en logistiek zijn we op zoek naar een Sea Freight Export Specialist. In deze dynamische omgeving werk je nauw samen met klanten, rederijen, douanepartners en interne afdelingen om een vlotte goederenstroom te garanderen.

Jouw nieuwe functie

Als Sea Freight Export Specialist ben je verantwoordelijk voor de operationele opvolging van internationale exportzendingen via zeevracht. Je takenpakket bestaat uit:

  • Beheren en verwerken van transportopdrachten in het transportmanagementsysteem
  • Coördineren van internationale zeevrachtzendingen in samenwerking met interne afdelingen, rederijen en douanepartners
  • Opstellen, controleren en verwerken van transport- en douanedocumentatie
  • Opvolgen van zendingen en proactief oplossen van operationele knelpunten om levertermijnen te garanderen
  • Fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor klanten en hen informeren over de status van hun zendingen
  • Zorgen voor een correcte verwerking van gegevens in systemen zoals WMS, TMS en SAP
  • Actief meedenken over procesverbeteringen en een optimale dienstverlening binnen de supply chain

Jouw profiel

Voor deze functie als Sea Freight Export Specialist herken je jezelf in het volgende:

  • Je hebt ervaring binnen freight forwarding, bij voorkeur in zeevracht
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Engels; kennis van het Nederlands is een sterke troef
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig en behoudt het overzicht in een dynamische werkomgeving
  • Je bent klantgericht, proactief en denkt oplossingsgericht
  • Je leert snel nieuwe systemen aan en werkt vlot met logistieke software
  • Je bent een echte teamspeler en bouwt graag duurzame relaties op met klanten en collega's
