Matchis Fonds Stamceldonatie is de fondsenwervende partner van Stichting Matchis, de stamceldonorbank van Nederland. Het Fonds werft de middelen die nodig zijn om stamceldonatie zichtbaar te maken, nieuwe donoren te registreren en innovatieve projecten mogelijk te maken. Dankzij deze ondersteuning kunnen meer patiënten de kans krijgen op een passende stamceldonor. Voor de verdere ontwikkeling van het Fonds zoeken wij een betrokken bestuurslid (secretaris), bij voorkeur met ervaring in de fondsenwereld en een hart voor maatschappelijke impact. Wat is de taak van de secretaris binnen het Fonds? Als secretaris vervul je een belangrijke rol binnen het bestuur. Het huidige bestuur bestaat uit 3 niet-uitvoerende en 1 uitvoerend bestuurslid. Als niet uitvoerende bestuurder is de secretaris niet verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse uitvoering, maar draagt vanuit een toezichthoudende en strategische rol bij aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het Fonds. De secretaris - bewaakt de kwaliteit van bestuurlijke processen en besluitvorming; - ziet erop toe dat bestuursleden tijdig beschikken over de juiste informatie; - adviseert over naleving van wet- en regelgeving, statuten en governance-afspraken; - fungeert als verbindende schakel tussen bestuur, directie en externe relaties; - denkt mee over de strategische koers van het Fonds; - signaleert kansen voor fondsenwerving en helpt mee om nieuwe initiatieven te ontwikkelen; - vertegenwoordigt het Fonds incidenteel bij bijeenkomsten en evenementen; - vervangt de voorzitter bij diens afwezigheid. Daarnaast draagt het bestuur gezamenlijk verantwoordelijkheid voor goed bestuur, toezicht en de verdere groei van de organisatie. Wie zoeken wij?
