Wie zijn wij? Met muziek, geluid en klank raken we al meer dan tien jaar publiek in uiteenlopende contexten. We treden op in theaters, op festivals, in buurthuizen, op congressen en - op maat - bij maatschappelijke en zakelijke organisaties. Sounding Bodies is een kleine, eigenzinnige en ambitieuze culturele stichting gevestigd in Tilburg. Sounding Bodies gelooft in de kracht van klank en muziek om mensen te verbinden met zichzelf, met anderen en hun omgeving. We maken muzikale performances en voorstellingen onder de artistieke leiding van cellist en maker Jacqueline Hamelink. De onderscheidende signatuur en het innovatieve karakter van het werk van Sounding Bodies maken dat ons werk breed ingezet kan worden. We worden geprogrammeerd in de theaters en op muziekfestivals, op scholen, podia met een bredere programmering en andere (zakelijke en maatschappelijke) events. Ook verwerken we de artistieke inhoud van onze projecten op een duurzame manier door ze geschikt te maken voor inzet in andere domeinen. Sounding Bodies wordt door de gemeente Tilburg en de provincie Noord-Brabant ondersteund binnen de vierjarige subsidieregeling Professionele Kunsten. Daarnaast werkt Sounding Bodies op basis van eigen inkomsten en diverse project- en ontwikkelsubsidies. Sounding Bodies is een projectorganisatie van uitsluitend zelfstandigen en leeft hierbij de Fair Practice Code na. Sounding Bodies onderschrijft ook de code Cultural Governance en de code Diversiteit & Inclusie. Vacature: secretaris In het bestuur van Sounding Bodies is de positie van secretaris vacant. We zoeken een secretaris die vanuit een constructieve, steunende opstelling suggesties kan doen en meedenkt. De komende periode staat in het teken van de realisatie van de vierjarenplannen en de verdere ontwikkeling van Sounding Bodies.
