Ben jij een ervaren IT-professional die cybersecurity graag combineert met een brede kennis van infrastructuur en systemen? Wil je niet alleen securityproblemen oplossen, maar ook mee bepalen hoe een organisatie zich op IT-vlak veilig en toekomstgericht organiseert? Dan is deze functie als Security & Systems Engineer een mooie uitdaging. Je wordt binnen het IT-team dé specialist voor cybersecurity en krijgt een brede verantwoordelijkheid over security, systemen en infrastructuur. Je werkt mee aan strategische verbeteringen, maar blijft ook hands-on betrokken bij de dagelijkse IT-omgeving.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Beheren en verder uitbouwen van de cybersecurityomgeving, waaronder firewalls, endpoint security, antivirus en toegangsbeheer.
  • Opzetten en onderhouden van netwerksegmentatie en securitymaatregelen om de infrastructuur verder te versterken.
  • Uitwerken en bewaken van security policies en richtlijnen rond veilig IT-gebruik.
  • Beheren van servers, netwerken en de hybride Microsoft Azure-infrastructuur.
  • Opvolgen van vulnerabilities, security alerts, patches en incidenten en de nodige acties ondernemen.
  • Meedenken over de beveiliging van remote access, VPN-verbindingen en andere connectiviteitsoplossingen.
  • Adviseren van collega's over cybersecurity en veilige IT-oplossingen.
  • Samenwerken met interne teams en, waar relevant, klanten en externe partners rond securityvraagstukken.
  • Proactief identificeren van risico's en voorstellen formuleren om de IT-omgeving verder te beveiligen.
  • Meewerken aan projecten rond infrastructuur, security en verdere digitalisering.

Waar ga je werken? Je komt terecht in een innovatieve industriële organisatie waar IT een belangrijke rol speelt in de dagelijkse werking én in de verdere groei van het bedrijf. Binnen het IT-team werk je nauw samen met collega's die instaan voor infrastructuur en support. Tegelijk krijg je als Security & Systems Engineer een unieke positie: jij wordt de centrale specialist voor cybersecurity en krijgt de kans om mee de krijtlijnen uit te zetten op vlak van policies, beveiliging en technische standaarden. De functie combineert interne securityprojecten met vraagstukken rond veilige IT-oplossingen voor klanten. Daardoor krijg je een gevarieerd takenpakket en een sterke technische verantwoordelijkheid.

  • Minstens 5 jaar ervaring als System Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, Security Engineer of in een gelijkaardige functie.
  • Een brede technische kennis van IT-infrastructuur, netwerken en cybersecurity.
  • Goede kennis van Microsoft Azure en moderne infrastructuuromgevingen.
  • Praktische ervaring met firewalls en securitytools.
  • Ervaring met Fortinet/FortiGate is een belangrijke troef.
  • Je bent analytisch en hands-on en gaat problemen grondig te werk.
  • Je communiceert vlot en durft je standpunt duidelijk te verdedigen.
  • Je kan collega's overtuigen van het belang van bepaalde securitymaatregelen en neemt hierin ownership.
  • Je spreekt vlot Nederlands of Frans en kan professioneel communiceren in het Engels.
  • Een goede kennis van zowel Nederlands als Frans is een sterke meerwaarde.
  • Je werkt graag in een omgeving waar samenwerking en aanwezigheid op kantoor belangrijk zijn en bent bereid om vier dagen per week op kantoor te werken.
