Wat ga je doen? Je beoefent de spoedeisende geneeskunde uit in de volle breedte. Je werkt met complexe, acute problematiek en ziet het volledige spectrum van het vak. Onze patiëntenpopulatie is grotendeels verwezen, waarbij meer dan 95% via de huisarts of de ambulance komt. Dit betekent inhoudelijk uitdagende acute zorg, met relatief weinig laagcomplexe problematiek. Je combineert tertiaire spoedzorg in Zwolle met spoedzorg in Meppel. In Meppel ben je, zeker in de dienst, medisch eindverantwoordelijk voor alle acute zorg, waaronder acute neurologie. Met circa 60.000 patiënten per jaar, verdeeld over Zwolle, Meppel en de Eerste harthulp, is het volume hoog en gevarieerd. Je werkt intensief samen met praktisch alle poortspecialismen. De Spoedeisende hulp (SEH) heeft een zelfstandige positie, gedragen door de andere vakgroepen. Overleg is laagdrempelig en besluitvorming gebeurt in goed onderling vertrouwen. Waar ga je werken? Je werkt dagelijks samen in een vast SEH-team, bestaande uit SEH-verpleegkundigen, arts-assistenten, PA's, SEH-artsen en ondersteunend personeel. Iedereen kent zijn rol, maar ieders stem telt. In Zwolle werk je tijdens de dag- en avonddienst samen met een tweede SEH-arts. Dat geeft niet alleen collegialiteit en veiligheid, maar biedt ook de mogelijkheid tot actief sparren en intervisie tussen SEH-artsen. Zo versterk je samen de klinische besluitvorming én behoud je, naast je coördinerende rol, een directe en behandelende betrokkenheid bij de acuut zieke patiënt.
